Artwork > Digital Monotypes

In this process I begin by coming up with my design in an Adobe program such as illustrator or photoshop. I use an inkjet or laser printer to deposit pigment or toner onto a wide variety of substrates including paper, photo paper, canvas, glass, or transparencies. I then run this image through the printer multiple times revealing one layer at a time until the image is complete. I will often burnish other prints together using traditional transfer methods and monotype techniques.
